it's been 9 months since my last post. third year is finally over 3 weeks ago and i'm seriously getting a life during 4th year!! well almost done with my summer attachment and i'm heading home this friday. can't wait to eat till i droppppppp in m'sia!! :)

this week will be my cleaning and shopping week. too much to be done in a week's time... however, still i'm too excited to go home!!!!!!!!!!! hahahaha :D

YEAH! so i am now in Moscow again. have been back since three weeks ago. classes are different from previous years, a lot of travelling to be made to different hospitals coz we are having some of the lessons there. but so far so good..despite the fact that i was almost down with the rapidly changing weather here but vit C is doing me great currently. :)

can't wait to go shopping again..or at least.. get out of my room more. :)

it just wouldn't stop going on in the mind where fantasies are soooo real. yea, somehow it looks real in my tiny little brain. :) i used to tell what's in my head, all the crazy imaginations and wild thoughts, that amuse myself when i've nothing else to do. time flies, still it stuns me whenever it comes to my mind that i took months to end this fucked up feeling. the drama that i had, absurd deeds that i had done. bloody hell i would say, years ago i wouldn't imagine myself ending up right here where i am now. but that's the thrill of life that could carry you to anywhere you would never understand. and the gratitude you would have for life will be there when you've learnt enough.

i'm just happy to be what i am now. i'm on my way to set my crazy self right. =D have a big toast for life!!!!

my summer attachment is coming soon to an end. so the past three weeks i have been washing surgical instruments and cleaning up surgery theatres. sometimes i got to watch operations which i did not understand at all. blame my lacking of comprehending russian language well. the main problem is that we do not get to speak too much of it in daily life and now leaving us not knowing a lot of words. i'm trying hard though to catch up with my partners and nurses in the departments. i'm very much grateful to have them helping me so much and being so patient with me. :) god bless all of them.

i'm going home in 6 days time. can't wait any longer, it's been a year away from it. the 29 days at home will be the best time for me to integrate myself altogether again after what'd happened throughout this year and have new perspective on life. i failed hard before, and i gained something. yeah, being a better person and have a BIGGER heart. i need that. so often i've been cynical towards people, should i really believe in myself and the people who love me would love me just the way i am. before i commence the hectic semester i shall really get myself right first.

i'm always this tired everyday ever since i started my clinical attachment. mopping the surgery room's floor had never been this fun. it was splashed with so much blood and it took me quite a while to clean it. the patient's fine though. she had been in good hands but complications are hard to avoid sometimes.

after tomorrow and i'll be freed from this week. should have a great weekend. :)

my day ended very well. ;) no surgery this afternoon so the nurses permitted me to go home early. bought a standing fan for my room. bloody summer in moscow, i even got tanned without being out under the sun. >.<

a very hot day. i couldn't breathe already. with dandelions in the air.

had no classes today hence went OUT for lunch. i had been hiding in my room for the entire week and the furthest place i'd been going was my uni. which is 10 minutes walk away from my dorm.

=) i'm so late to tell how well and bad the 5th Malaysian Students Annual Dinner went. it's over. overall it was an enjoyable night for the guests. and now they are forming the 2011's team, somehow i feel like a mother passing the throne to my kid.

so it's been a while. though many stuffs are going on around me but they are all boring. lame stuffs that don't worth the mentioning.

a brief update anyway. intervarsity game was 2 weeks ago. i lost. i would like to tell how i love my team mates for all the support and comfort i got even after coming back to moscow.... but that's not important. thing is we lost. terribly actually. after all the practise. we are all feeling fine now yet it doesn't change the fact. training's still on so it's okay i guess, we have time to make things better.

Malaysian Students Annual Dinner is in 8 more days. i'm gonna work my ass off that day, god bless the event will go on well. =)

life is never depicted the way you want it to be. it's either you are lacking something, or you have too much of it. but the latter definitely sounds much better. at least you have choices in your hands. so what if you are lacking it? or someone's having what you really really want? the sudden jealousy overwhelms you. especially if that person is whom you are really close to. that's the hardest part. you need to hide, but in the mean while you are also trying to fight for what you want. even if the chance doesn't seem great. i do not know why am i saying this, but often i realise life is just always not the way it's supposed to be. so i heard hardship brings perfection. but i really want to know, that is perfection here after i work so hard or it's just because one day i wake up and think that "ah, it's time for me to not care anymore!", and so when you don't even give a damn,nothing matters and that's also when you think you life is perfect.

so i've been leading a life that i never wanted it to be. i relapsed. it's never a rare thing to me though, i'm always that uncertain. but in this process i learnt about myself more, what i really really crave for, and what i really want to be. even it doesn't feel right.

the whole moscow has been engulfed in fear since monday, 29th March 2010. not to mention that now we are having female suicide bomber. which is always out of authority's suspense. but even though we are fear of traveling on metro but still when it's necessary, all of us have no other option. seriously, may all people get blessed that none of it will happen again. yesterday night i went through the metro underground pathway to cross to the other side of road, i literally ran all the way....just in case something bad was to happen. seriously it's now terrifying. especially to all seniors, which have no choice but to travel with metro everyday to hospitals. one of the bombing station is which majority of the clinical year students need to pass by every morning. next year, it will be my turn.

nothing we can do now as terrorists choose to attack innocent civilians and in a big and crowded city like this it's even harder to spot them. it's very heart sickening, but guess we can only pray for the best.......

bloody warm winter with drizzles. for today. it was awesome to have such weather, seriously. but the melted snow and the muddy and wet streets? it was thwarting. if it wasn't because of the fun of snowboarding i guess since long ago i would have cursed this winter, but yeah, SACRIFICE IS NEEDED FOR FUN.

had a very tiring training just now. got back hostel around 12 30am. even with sore muscles i still feel like being in paradise after working out. i'm one of the people who can soak the whole t-shirt with sweat during winter. even it's negative 20. =D haha.

passed my first test in 2nd semester. physiology. didn't really do it well this time. felt rather bad of myself. =/ days are getting more intense now, have volley and badminton training each twice a week. so it sums up to 4 days per week. with tests which are coming up soon and MASSAD(Malaysian Students Annual Dinner)'s meeting which is also twice a week. but even it takes alot to balance things up yet i'm loving it...there won't be many chances to experience the same again in the future besides taut classes and exams. especially 3rd year. must really enjoy this eventful semester before getting drawn into that kind of life =).

gotta be at sports hall at 9am later for some briefing from dean. hopefully it ends earlier so that i can have enough time to do my groceries shopping coz volley training will be from 7 to 11pm so i need to get back in time.

for sunday, half of my day will be cooking for MASSAD's sales. then volley training again at 8 to 11pm. get what i mean when i say i'm busy?!

just one thing, i seriously need to replenish myself by partying...anyone?!

so i've been putting my blog aside.basically since cny i had got busier. until recently, though tests are coming up soon but somehow i think i have got used to the lifestyle like this.

kursk's games is in 5 weeks time. so during this couple weeks will undergo intensive training. last saturday we had 12 hours of it and to avoid the cold we stayed in sports hall even during break and had our lunch there. egg sandwiches made by 5 of us =). female team is aiming for gold, there's basically nothing to worry about besides mentally weak,it's the hardest part and hopefully we can all overcome it.

ps:you get emotionally involved coz you care, and thats when problem occurs.

have been really busy ever since i got back from switzerland. classes are packed and this second semester isn't as free as what seniors had been telling.

went for new year shopping on friday night after lecture,bought mainly ingredients for eve's dinner and house opening on sunday. i just can't stop spending money. the trip which we actually planned it as a budget one cost me already around rm7-8K. but to be frank, swiss is absolutely a great country to visit. with beautiful people, breath catching sceneries, the best cheese and chocolate. bought two bags full of chocolate and 1kg of chocolate powder. i've never been fond of chocolate but it's just impossible to resist especially when it's made locally.

it's the first CNY i'm away from home. so you people who are spending it with family, be grateful and have a wonderful year.

ps:valentine's day just seems to be so minor this time.

so i did whine on my own, and now i feel free. should think for a better future actually. shouldn't blame the luck too much. should have been paying attention since the first day of class. IT'S TIME TO GROW UP ALICE SEE, know yourself and do the right thing. excuses and disappointment are not allowed anymore. so i have 4 months to rescue my other second year subjects which i kind of neglected them the whole first sem. since weeks couldn't do enough, then i will go for months. even i'm facing extreme depression but there's always a slight feeling of someday somehow i'll be the one who smiles with glory.

the grading system here. 3,4 or 5. below than that is failing. 106 exam questions. 4 questions per variant. so, it's your luck to get a easy or a hard one.

i just hope i can pass. even some people think that there's no difference between failing and a 3. i'm going to switzerland anyway after these 2 papers. as long as i do my part well. the rest i will just hand it to luck. =)

i am seriously choosing the wrong time to be out of my room. saturday there was training. and yesterday i went to the park with april. plus we had vegetarian shauma for dinner. it was goooooooood. it was nearing sunset so there weren't many people in the park, it was quiet and beautiful. the first time in these few months i felt like loving the snow. the lake's frozen, with thick snow on it. saw some people walking across but i don't think it could withstand my weight. hmm =/.

went to uni today and had a look at the cadaver. i have serious problems in identifying parts. everything looks so distorted when they are not red in colour. or maybe i'm just not that good. three more days left, i have 6 systems, bones and joints, central nervous system to finish. god bless me.

ps: did my grocery shopping, so yeah, i will allow myself to become a tad fatter.

so this was what happened on 31st December 2009. just five of us having fun at home while many other people went for new year countdown. champagne was good though..guess i finished almost whole bottle..coz it was sooooo sweet.

couldn't stop sending message when it hit 12.

so while enjoying new year break, gonna fight for finals too....ah..it's just so not the right time.

a day spent with running errands. first i went to uni with xj, after she got her biochem credit we went to dean office to get our credit book signed. then we walked all around to search for 1st year's lecturers to sign our practical books. couldn't find some of them so we gave up. then we headed down to Sberbank near post office to pay internet fee. then we continued travel to the chinese shop, it was locked and the staff told us the people were coming back in a hour time. so while waiting me and xj took our dinner at the korean restaurant next to it. but somehow the people got caught in traffic so we ended up waiting for 3 hours. thank god we managed to get what we wanted for the new year eve's steamboat. it was -11 and i was only wearing a t shirt and leather jacket. oh my....

25th December.

had dinner at Jasmine. a simple night out after staying up whole night for microbiology. and it was friday. should reward ourselves for the hardwork. eye bags are growing way faster than my size. and speaking of which, i just couldn't stop eating with this weather. it's like yea....hunger lasts for 24 hours per day.

26th December.

went for training. from 8-11 something. surprisingly the temperature was good so we walked home. and had supper at Sinbad. Pizza, Shauma and Sprite. see, that's the way of keeping your adipose tissue thicker and thicker.

27th December.

wasted.

28th December.

so i started studying physiology only around 1am. i remembered seeing words...graphs..schemes...whatever. lasted around 3 hours plus though. then the next thing i know it was already 12 in the noon. had a quick shower and headed to class. so i got a 4 for it without knowing anything i studied. or i should say i'm just that brilliant. =D GREAT!! i finished my last test of the year.

29th December.

stayed up the whole morning to complete microbiology workbook. did not manage to finish everything. but lecturer still gave me credit. so yea, it was the day i collected my last credit and the next task is finals.

24th December 2009.

Had a great surprise indeed. first the fake celebration with a pie looking so familiar that i thought i bought it from grocery store before yet mates claimed they spent the whole night baking.

the real one was when i got hoaxed into the snow with slippers just to search for april's PDA, the main purpose was for me to find my present but feet got hurt alot so i went off half way before finding it. then no idea what happened, the whole situation was chaotic with alot of people there,which i was so blur that i didn't even notice they were all waiting for me to go into the snow again purposely. blame the guy who has the same birthday as me appeared out of a sudden, everyone was busy wishing him so i didn't suspect anything plus i was jealous coz they didn't say anything to me so i continued searching for the 'PDA'. then only i saw 6 bottles of miniature coke hidden in the snow. the moment they brought me the cake, i was like 'oh my......i'm so stupidddddddd'. but it was memorable though,with the pain on the feet, and the blur situation i had the whole night.

never really expected such celebration, especially my dearest cherrie,april,leekheng spent 5 hours on baking the brownies which is my favourite. and others who participated in making the surprise happened. we all know winter is the busiest period for everyone with all credits to settle and finals to sit for. thank you guys so much for giving out your time. definitely appreciate the effort alot. =D

the whole weekend wasn't like what i expected. had volley training on saturday morning. out of a sudden there was the sun. a pretty one. so we decided to head out and have a nice lunch or dinner. but we ended up going out late and it was already reaching sunset. though it was only 3 something in the afternoon. TGIF is one of the nearest good restaurant in city centre which we can reach. hmm..the European Mall was what we aimed for actually. ha. bought two scarfs. red and black. should match my jackets better.

and our friend, Chris, who hid his 21st birthday which was yesterday from us since the night before till this morning. so we literally skipped his whole birthday. the worse part is he was with us almost the entire day and we didn't know at all. if it wasn't because of JinLi we would just get to wish him the following year or even not at all forever since he prefers not telling. not even it's on his facebook. poor him got scolded while we were celebrating for him this morning for making us so guilty. and lucky that we made dinner tonight just for him.

so, i missed my study session these two days. tests are on tuesday and friday. i'm doomed.

so no thanks to friday. as next week is what i don't want it to come at all. never slept the whole previous night, and i was like a dead walking creature in uni today. brain was down totally. managed to get home fast after Anatomy lecture and slept for 4 hours before party. feel absolutely great now. volley training's at 10am later. i need more work outs to get rid of the winter's fat. but the problem is i feel hungry all the time.

last staying up so late this week. will have a better rest tomorrow night, despite the party that i'm supposed to host. endless tests are coming up damn soon, including on christmas eve, which happens to be also my birthday. surgery test, what a fucking joke is that. thought christmas's the most happening event in the year for westerners but just so lucky i am to be in a weird country like russia which never celebrates english christmas. instead, they declared their own christmas on 7th of January. one whole week of new year break from 1st to 7th. pretty!! i should be born on 31st then.

by the way, saw a hot russian guy in the bus. we couldn't move our eyes off him. i actually stared at him the entire trip. a lot of people dress up better during winter. no wonder i always complain m'sia is lacking of highly fashionable people. and that's why there's nothing like mamak stall here but fancy restaurants are all over. back in m'sia i had even seen children with pyjamas in the mall!! =/

have 10 damn histology slides to draw. *sigh*

found random pictures which i took couple months ago. remember it was on 1st of May. when i was being emo on my results. so i went to the park alone and got these. sunlight was very very pretty. too bad i did not realise back then.

those places are covered by snow now. friends are complaining colours i wear. and so i got dared to wear a bright red poncho. couldn't imagine how will it be like on me. colours are confusing.the purple leather jacket is already at my limit.

hmm, speaking of which, can't wait for winter sales. i seriously need more jackets.

going back home this winter break is also an option other than traveling. but the break doesn't match chinese new year. find it pointless. moreover it's only for 2-3 weeks.
